President - Craig Karagitz

Craig Karagitz has over 25 years of experience in a wide variety of industries. He is currently working as a UDI Project Manager with USDM Life Sciences where he specializes in supporting projects related to the US FDA’s Unique Device Identification regulation for Medical Devices.

Prior to joining USDM, Craig gained a wide background of experience having worked for companies in the healthcare, software, RV/marine, and automotive industries, including seven years for Critical Management Kinetics, a project management consulting company. Before that, Craig spent over ten years in various engineering roles, primarily in the automotive industry.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Oakland University, both in Michigan in the United States. He is certified as a Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute and is currently the President of the PMI-Huron Valley Chapter in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the United States.


Past President - Ed Pelic

Ed has been a member of PMI-HVC since its founding in 2002 and contributed to the chapter development through several efforts. He served on the Chapter Meeting committee and was elected Vice President of Programs. He was then elected President in 2010.

Ed is currently a Director of Program Management at Truven Healthcare Analytics and has 30+ years experience leading teams in a broad range of information technology areas and enterprise scale software application development programs. 20+ years of this experience is in healthcare. He founded and operated a successful application software development and consulting company, as well as a infrastructure PMO organization at Pfizer in Ann Arbor.


VP, Administration - Siamak Moshiri

SiamakMoshiri

Led projects and teams in automotive industry in the areas of product development, process improvements, optimization, emissions reductions and fuel conservation. Collaborated with government bodies, industry regulators and policy developers to implement initiatives related to vehicle systems, modules and components, procedures and protocol developments. Conducted market, financial and risk analysis and contributed to the feasibility studies for vehicle systems / components improvements / developments and refurbishments.

Proficient in project management methodology, analytical methods,modeling and problem solving, Product / Process improvement methodology, statistical analysis, Six Sigma, financial modeling, FMEA / Risk analysis, Automotive and power train test implementations.


VP, Communications - Bill Mahoney

Bill Mahoney is a Navy veteran, Ford retiree, online instructor for the University of Phoenix, voice-over artist,and a member of the Huron Valley Chapter of PMI since 2005. After receiving his PMP certification in 2008, Bill became an instructor for the chapter's PMP Exam Prep course. He joined the Board of Directors as VP of Administration later that same year, was elected VP of Membership in 2009 and VP of Communications in 2014.

As VP of membership, Bill is engaged in a dialogue with the membership through his membership matters communications. These have included such things as welcome packages, renewal reminders, event notifications, and have recently expanded to include member satisfaction survey.  He established a volunteer management program, called the Volunteer Exchange, to help match member volunteers with opportunities. Bill's committee also launched in maintains the membership matters networking group on LinkedIn. He is also investigating creating a chapter newsletter.


VP, Finance - Mark Reuter

Since retiring from Ford I've worked as a contract Project Manager executing IT projects for Technicolor, Ford, United Health Care, SAAB, Consumers Energy, FCA and, now I’m trying my hand at teaching at Baker College in Jackson. Many of you have seen me at the registration desk ensuring you all have a “winning ticket” and additionally now ensuring the Chapters “Books” are properly maintained.


VP, Programs - Cady Johnson

Cady graduated the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in 2007 and began working in Chicago as a financial consultant and auditor. In 2012, Cady obtained her PMP certification and moved to Michigan and joined the PMI Huron Valley Chapter. After spending several years leading teams to deliver e-commerce and digital marketing solutions, Cady is currently a Scrum Master at TD Ameritrade in Ann Arbor. Cady was elected to the Board of Directors in 2014 as VP Programs. Since then, she has pioneered alternative programming options with the chapter including exploring different meeting offerings, exciting speakers and has revitalized the Chapter’s commitment to providing Professional Development Days. As VP Programs, Cady is committed to work with Chapter volunteers to deliver new programs to benefit Chapter members and foster the next generation of chapter leaders.


VP, Membership - Christine Blair

ChristineBlair

People, processes, and projects are Christine’s passions. With more than 10 years of experience managing and coordinating projects from inception to completion, Christine has worked to establish, organize, and enhance operations for companies in the technology, automotive, gas & oil, and service industries. She holds a BBA in Business Management from Cleary University.

Christine has been an active volunteer since joining. She is excited by the opportunity to help increase awareness and encourage professional advancement in the project management field. Christine looks forward to supporting the HVC-PMI membership.

Christine also serves her community through work with the 100 Women Who Care in Livingston County.
