2015 saw changes to the PMP certification exam and the PMI-ACP certification exam. What does this mean? What do you need to know?

For Practitioners, By Practitioners

PMI certifications are driven by current practices in the profession –  active practitioners author exam questions and validate our research. This hands-on input ensures that each PMI certification remains relevant, valuable and globally recognized.

Why a Role Delineation Study?

Every 3-5 years, we conduct a Role Delineation Study (RDS) that identifies leading-edge components of successful performance, including:

  • specific tasks a practitioner performs
  • critical knowledge and necessary skills
  • required tools and techniques

These studies are vital in maintaining each certification’s relevance – providing a blueprint that ensures the exam continues to reflect the current status of the profession.
