Words to Lead By…
Presenter: David Dahl
There are several management models that we all know by their acronyms, such as MBO (management by objectives), MBE (management by exceptions), and MBWA (management by walking around). None of them is the answer to everything, but some can be more useful than others, and at least parts of each of them are good to have in our collection of skills. In this session, we’ll add another model to the set – one that draws on the (sometimes unintentional) wisdom of well-known historical figures. Come see what leadership lessons we find in good crises, third-best solutions, the certainty of death and taxes, and more.
Dave has thirty years of enterprise IT experience, spanning the transportation, food service, automotive, healthcare, and retail industries.
