In this interactive networking session, Lisa Ingall, founder of Couragecopia Leadership and Executive Coaching, will teach you the basics of a coaching approach to leadership, so you can get the members of your team to the point where they OWN their work and become more independent and engaged. You'll learn the importance of active listening, thoughtful questioning, and strategic planning when someone comes to you with a problem they want you to fix.
And since practice is the best way to learn, you're going to USE these coaching concepts to help each other and network with your fellow chapter members. We'll break into smaller groups and coach each other on challenges we have at work or home. Through these insightful conversations, you'll learn more about each other than at a typical networking session, and you may even make a new friend!
Please bring a challenge you'd like to be coached on -- it's likely you'll get some helpful guidance from your peers. Due to time constraints, not everyone will receive coaching, but everyone will practice it! There will be time at the end of the session for additional open networking.
Executive, Leadership and Empowerment Coach | Couragecopia
Lisa Ingall's passion for coaching and leadership can be traced back to her days at IBM, where she spent over fifteen years leading global software development teams in highly complex projects, almost entirely from her home office. As founder of Couragecopia, she coaches innovative leaders and teams to maximize
engagement and productivity while reintroducing human connection to the workplace. When she's not coaching leaders, she can be found playing coed rec ice hockey or sampling the area's culinary delights with her husband, volunteering for WAY too many PTO events, and coaching her son's Science Olympiad team.
