Value Chain & Process Mapping for Agile Organizations
Venue Location: Washtenaw Community College, Great Lakes Regional Training Center (food and drink provided)
The first 30 minutes will be for networking followed by Tom Cagley's discussion on value chain mapping, which is a high-level representation of how an organization transforms raw materials into a product and then delivers that product to its customers. Tom will walk us through the use of process maps are a critical step to reducing process burden and shifting quality activities left in agile.

Organizations of all sizes must continuously evolve through strategic process improvements. Process improvement requires a solid understanding of how teams transform ideas and knowledge into value that a customer can consume. Specific Learning Objectives:
- Define value chain concepts, value streams, and process maps.
- Review the differences between value chains, value streams, and process maps.
- Understand when to use each.
Abour our Speaker | Tom Cagley, Jr.
Tom Cagley is a consultant, speaker, author, and coach who leads organizations and teams to unlock their inherent greatness.
