Topic Details:

Getting people to do what you want them to do is simple when you have authority over them – for example the team reporting to you. Doing the same with stakeholders, where you have no authority over (and most times they have authority over you), requires special interpersonal skills not traditionally discussed in project management circles.

At the top of these skills is the art of influencing people. With over 20 years of obtaining success in complex stakeholder environments, George Jucan will share his practical advice and proven methods to influence stakeholders to increase the project’s likelihood to achieve success. A preview of his upcoming book on Influencing Stakeholders, this is a must-attend session for any project manager, from new to the profession to the most experienced.
