About the Speakers

Brian Tolle | End User Adoption as part of a Project Plan

Brian Tolle is currently the manager of the Division of Quality and Health Improvement in Michigan Medicine’s Department of Pathology. In this capacity, he manages a team of five (three project managers, data scientist, and process improvement specialist) who are responsible for working collaboratively with the department’s operational leaders to identify and implement projects to improve quality and/or the patient experience. He joined Michigan Medicine in 2015 after a 20+ year career as an independent consultant in the field of organizational culture, leadership development, and high performing teams. Brian received his Masters of Science degree in Organizational Development from Loyola University Chicago and his Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from The Catholic University of America.

Jorge Munevar, PMP | Leadership through Project Management

Jorge Munevar is a team-oriented leader and project manager professional with extensive experience in leadership, Information Technology and Project Management.  At the Wichita Airport Administration, he quickly moved up the ranks and successfully lead the department until his retirement. One of his biggest accomplishments was to establish a PMO. Jorge’s current role at the State of Michigan is EPMO IT Portfolio Manager. 

Jorge has been involved with PMI for over 15 years. He served as the Chapter President in Wichita, KS. As a PMI volunteer, he was an instructor for PMP boot camps and delivered project manager methodologies training classes for numerous organizations. Jorge has also presented at PPD trainings on several occasions. At the State of Michigan, Jorge developed and presented classes for the State of Michigan project management methodology and its implementation.

Jorge believes that the takeaway from his years of experience in project management is that delivering a technical solution does not mean success. To make a project successful, the people side, Organization Change Management (OCM), methodologies must be incorporated.

Jorge’s formal education includes a MA in Information Technology Management, MA in Management and Leadership, and BS in Computer Science. Jorge holds a PMP certification, and an OCM practitioner certification (ADKAR).

In his personal life, Jorge has 3 passions: grandchildren, disabled veterans, and coffee.

Bob Olech | Project Success through Stakeholder Management

Bob is a personable, enthusiastic, and accomplished IT professional who thrives on consistently raising the standards of personal and professional excellence. Throughout his 42+ year career, Bob has worked in a variety of industries including electric utilities, government, law enforcement, banking, insurance, technical services, program/project management consulting, and PMO management. 

He received honors from several organizations for senior leadership, customer focus, problem solving and delivering results. His vision and ability to build lasting relationships leads to long-term solutions and success. Bob is most fulfilled when helping other people grow professionally. Bob embraces the core values of mentorship, coaching and Servant Leadership.  He believes that servant leaders are people who practice a leadership philosophy that enriches the lives of individuals and builds better organizations. 

Bob’s primary philosophy is “A healthy organization acts on the interests of its stakeholders and customers”.  Project Managers are an essential bridge between the project sponsor and multiple stakeholders. They ensure that the project is executed within the best possible manner so that customer delight is maintained while business interests are fully preserved.

Bob enjoys volunteering. He has a long history of advancing inclusion and equity in education, youth sports, and community events. He recently held the VP of Programs position in the PMI Huron Valley Chapter and continues to volunteer time “to give back”.
