Our guest speaker, Amy Fredell, will demonstrate how to unock the potential to steer your career with the precision and effectiveness of a well-managed project. About Our Speaker: Amy Fredell, MA,PMP

Amy Fredell brings over 15 years of career development expertise and more than 5 years of project management experience, backed by a robust educational foundation. She holds a Master of Arts in Career Development with a specialization in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Psychology. Additionally, Amy is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), with pending certification as a Certified Talent Development Professional (CTDP).  

At the University of Michigan (U-M), she worked at the School of Public Policy's Graduate Career Services office, established the U-M Kinesiology Career Development Center, and helped scale the Rackham Graduate School’s doctoral internship program. She also helped to establish the U-M Career Services Network and later served as chair. Currently, Amy is a Project Manager in U-M Organizational Learning, focusing on creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for early-career staff.  

Amy worked as an independent consultant and career coach, earning a Gold Stevie award for helping displaced workers find meaningful employment during the pandemic. In October 2024, Amy founded Strategic Career Navigation, LLC, a career consulting firm.
